Instructions to Opt-in for Android 9.0 Pie Beta on Nokia 7 Plus
The program currently only supports models TA-1046 and TA-1055. To check the model of your device, go to Settings > System > About Phone.
First Step: Download the Android Pie Beta
- First of all, Go to the official website: https://www.nokia.com/en_int/phones/developer
- Now Scroll and click on the Sign into Get Started button
- Now sign up using Google and agree to terms from HMD.

Installation:
- First of all, Enable Developer Option on your phone
- Now enable USB Debugging on your phone.
- Download and extract the adb and fastboot tool
- In your PC, open the extracted adb folder and in the same folder, you can press SHIFT Key and Right Mouse click to open the command window or powershell window on Win10
- You can now connect your Nokia 7 Plus to PC by using USB Data cable and type the following command and hit enter
- If you have all the required drivers, the attached device will show up a prompt screen on the phone which you need to confirm by pressing OK.
- In your command window, now type the following command to enter recovery mode.
- Your smartphone will reboot to recovery and an icon with an exclamation mark will appear. Now, press the power button and volume up button at the same time, and you will see the menu on the screen. Use volume up or volume down button to navigate up and down and select the “Apply update from ADB” option, and click the power button to enter the menu.
